Welcome to Mamaya Villas El Nido. We are committed to providing our guests with a comfortable, safe, and eco-friendly experience. The following policies form part of your reservation agreement and are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.
1. Eco-Friendly Practices
As part of our commitment to sustainable tourism in Palawan, we kindly ask all guests to observe the following practices:
- Switch off lights, air conditioning, and television when not in use.
- Operate air conditioning only when the villa is occupied, set at 25°C on AUTO mode, and never with doors or windows open.
- Conserve water and report any leaks immediately.
- Reuse towels and linens when possible. Standard replacement is every three (3) days.
- Dispose of waste properly using the designated bins for recyclables, biodegradable, and residual waste.
- Avoid single-use plastics and refill bottles at our water stations.
- Use reef-safe sunscreen when swimming or island hopping.
- Do not feed, touch, or disturb local wildlife.
2. Reservation and Cancellation Policy
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund of deposit.
- 30–60 days before arrival: 50% refund of deposit.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund.
- No-show policy: Full reservation amount will be charged, with no refunds provided.
- Deposit Policy:
- For 1-night stays: Full payment required.
- For longer stays: 50% deposit required to secure the reservation.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Check-out time: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged at PHP 1,000 per hour, subject to availability.
Check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please contact the management at least one day prior. Additional charges may apply. - A valid government-issued ID or passport is required for all registered guests upon check-in.
4. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit of PHP 5,000 is required upon check-in, payable in cash.
- The deposit will be fully refunded within 24 hours after check-out if no damages, losses, or unpaid charges are incurred.
- In cases of damage or loss, the matter will be reported to authorities, and settlement may be required before departure.
5. Shuttle and Transfer Services
- Shuttle Service: Available to and from El Nido town from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Please book in advance via WhatsApp.
- Price is for reference only and may change due to van transportation regulations. Please note that we do not have control over pricing adjustments.

6. Food and Beverage
- Breakfast is available at PHP 500 per person, served à la carte in the villa from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Orders must be placed by 8:00 PM the night before.
- Guests may bring food and beverages and may cook in the villa.
- Cooking fish or any strong-smelling food is strictly prohibited. If the villa is left with lingering odors and the following guest requests a refund, any related costs will be charged to the responsible guest.
- Minibar items are available; prices are listed in-room and charged upon check-out.
7. Housekeeping and Linen
- Housekeeping Service: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily.
Housekeeping is provided daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Management reserves the right to enter a room, even if the “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed, for emergencies, housekeeping, maintenance, or policy enforcement. Law enforcement will be summoned if illegal activity is suspected. - Linen and Towels: Replaced every three (3) days in line with our eco-friendly policy.
- Early replacement: PHP 500 per set.
- Lost or damaged linen: PHP 4,000 per item.
As an environmentally-conscious property, bed linens and towels are replaced every third day of your stay. Lost or damaged linens will be charged at PHP 4,000. If you wish to change your linens earlier, a fee of PHP 500 per set applies. - Towels must not be removed from the villa or used for beach and island activities.
8. Facilities and Amenities
- Each villa is equipped with a safety deposit box. Management is not liable for lost or stolen items.
- Parking is free for registered guests, but Mamaya Villas is not liable for any damage or theft to vehicles parked on the property.
- Room keys must be returned upon departure. Lost key fee: PHP 2,000.
9. Electricity, WIFI and Water Supply
- El Nido occasionally experiences power interruptions due to weather or maintenance.
- Tap water is not potable. Complimentary drinking water is provided.
- Water supply may be limited during outages; conservation is encouraged.
- A generator is available but may experience short service interruptions.
- Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, supported by Starlink and other internet providers, delivering very fast internet. Temporary interruptions may occur during bad weather.
10. Insects and Wildlife
- Due to our natural island environment, insects, geckos, and wildlife may be present.
- Mosquito plugs are provided in each bedroom. Guests are advised to keep doors closed, particularly at night.
11. Child Policy
- One (1) child aged 0–7 years may stay free of charge when sharing an existing bed with parents (breakfast not included).
- Extra bedding is available upon request for an additional charge.
12. Visitor Policy
- All visitors must be registered at the virtual Desk.
- After 9:00 PM, only registered guests are permitted on the property.
- Guests are responsible for the conduct and compliance of their visitors.
13. House Rules
- Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Smoking: Prohibited inside the villa. Please use designated outdoor areas. Fine: PHP 10,000 for violations.
- Pets: Small pets are permitted; owners are liable for damages or disturbances.
- Disorderly conduct, gambling, drug use, illegal activity, and exceeding occupancy limits are strictly prohibited.
- Guests must treat all staff and property with respect.
- Each room is equipped with a safety deposit box. Mamaya Villas is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

- Any damages or loss of items from rooms will be charged to the guest’s account.

14. Generator Usage Policy
- For short-term power interruptions, the generator can operate continuously to ensure your comfort.
- For long-term use, the generator requires two daily rest periods to maintain good performance and prevent technical issues. It will be turned off from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
15. Access to Mamaya Villas
The road leading to Mamaya Villas is unpaved and may be rugged, especially during the rainy season. Guests are advised to use vehicles with good ground clearance (SUV or 4×4) or a scooter.
